Dear Daniel,
My son who is 4 years is very eager to learn cricket. He has shown outstanding skills in his batting, and i am sure he will be a good cricketer if he takes your valuable guidance. Pls help. His video showing his batting may be viewed at the following link.

Hi Nandan, good to hear from you!
Here in the UK we wouldn’t concentrate much on technique at such a young age. The child has obviously developed ahead of his time, so well done to you both for the hard work.
My words of advice would be to allow your son to develop as an athlete, not just a cricketer. Play other sports and this will help him to develop skills such as balance. Check out my articles on the LTAD section if you need to.
Don’t put too much pressure on him at an early age, although I can see he is enjoying it from the smile on his face
Daniel
Dear Daniel,
My million thanks to your advice. I will follow each and every word of your valuable advice. As you have suggested, i will try to make him an athlete as projected in your LTAD articles. I feel playing cricket once or twice in a week, is good enough for him and that should ease and create interest from my son to play. Yes, he is enjoying the game. Please allow me to keep in touch with you.
Thank you,
Nandan
